AIGAION Insurance Co S.A. expands its cooperation with Grant Thornton

Athens, 14^th May 2015 – AIGAION Co Insurance S.A. proceeds to expanding its cooperation with Grant Thornton in order to benefit from the high quality services provided by the company also in other sectors of specialization. 

In this context, Grant Thornton undertakes the supervision of accounting functions of AIGAION in cooperation with the financial services department of the insurance company, while there is already cooperation between the two parties in the fields of corporate governance and internal control.

Furthermore, in the context of the cooperation AIGAION can benefit from the contribution of Grant Thornton also in other elements related to its development and improvement in the functioning, the obligations towards the legislation including the issue of monitoring procedures for adaptation to SolvencyII.

AIGAION considers that the credibility and international prestige of Grant Thornton in areas where is specialized are a further guarantee for its development and the further development of the insurance market.
