AIGAION Insurance S.A.: The agreement between the AIGAION and the German DARAG has been implemented

Athens, January 13, 2015 –The transfer of the motor vehicle liability portfolio (insurance policies with coverage beginning to 31.12.2010) of AIGAION Insurance Co S.A. on the German reinsurance company DARAG was completed, following the relevant approval of the Agreement by the Commission of Credit and Insurance Issues of the Bank of Greece, on 24/09/2014.

In achieving this, AIGAION is exempted from the uncertainty of the future development of the previous years’ indemnities and is ready to meet the challenges of the market, as reflected by the Directive Solvency II.
