AIGAION Insurance S.A. : IN THE FIRST PLACE THE VESSEL SPONSORED BY AIGAION in the 47^th Andros Regatta

Athens, June 12, 2014 – The first place conquered the vessel with the "colors" of AIGAION Insurance Co S.A. in the 47^th International Andros Regatta, held the weekend 6-9 June 2014. 

The vessel sponsored by AIGAION excelled in ORC International class, thanks to the efforts and technical capacity of the group APIDALOS NAFS, led by Mr. Pavlos Kourkoulos. 

The president of AIGAION Mr. Nikos Velliadis stated that "the first place of the vessel that supported the AIGAION brought us great joy. Semantically corresponds to the first place that has our company in marine insurance, in the knowledge on vessels and large ships insurance and in the constant concern to offer to the Greek market everything most secure, safe and robust existing in the global insurance".

The particular regatta is one of the most historians of our country, as it takes place every year since 1967 in Andros, an island with a rich maritime tradition. AIGAION Insurance Co S.A. as a company developed successfully in vessels insurance and a leader in the sector, supports the race, recognizing its contribution to the preservation of the world known relationship of Greece with the sea and seamanship, and therefor participated in the official sponsors of the event.
